Then we saw the Stars Again: an evening with amberhaze
amberhaze will be launching his debut album “Then We Saw The Stars Again” with a performance at Dempsey HOUSE on Friday, 27 November 2009.
“Then We Saw The Stars Again”, is amberhaze’s full-length album recorded throughout 2008 and produced with Nick Chan at Wallwork Studios. The record expands the sonic palette displayed on amberhaze’s 2008 Newborn EP and shapes new facets to a project in constant evolution.
For the event at House @ Dempsey, amberhaze will perform original music from the album as well as a second set consisting of interpretations of music from artists as diverse as Aphex Twin, Brad Mehldau, Radiohead, Mogwai and more.
I’m back! It’s been a long two weeks of tough training and we’ve hardly begun. But anyway, here are a couple of free EPs and demos:
Amberhaze’s Newborn EP (2007), released free ahead of the new album next week;
Inch Chua’s debut solo work, The Bedroom;
and a 3-track preview of EN-X’s upcoming album Brighter Than The Sun.
To Texas and Back: A Benefit Show for I Am David Sparkle with performances by A Band Named Power, Indus Gendi, Amberhaze, A.U.M, Plainsunset, Amateur Takes Control, The Great Spy Experiment, 41 (from KL), and MUON; plus Flea.Fly.Flo.Fun runs concurrently outdoors.
Help bring I Am David Sparkle to South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. SXSW is one of the largest music festivals in the US and Sparkle are the 3rd Singaporean band ever to be invited.
TOMORROW Saturday 31st Jan 2009, 3pm till late @ Home Club (here’s the event on Facebook) Repost for great justice!

The guys are raising funds so they can play SXSW (they are the 3rd Singaporean band to be invited there?)… so this is compulsory for everyone within a hundred miles. Attendance will be taken.
