Should now hide the follower count on all your tumblrs, not just the primary one (e.g. group tumblrs that you manage). Get it here. If you’d like to only hide the follower count on your main tumblr, stick to the old script.
Tested with Greasekit for Safari. Instructions on the original post.

it feels a little different to me, reaching further into the 00s. I don’t know what to make of it evolving my tumblr in any way. Is it still the same blog it was at say, 10 followers? Will I start weeping and throwing furniture when the follower numbers go down? (since tumblr now proudly displays it on the right whether I like it or not).
Someone should make a script to kind of block that number out. I love you guys furrealz, but I don’t like relating my sense of self to numbers in any way.
As promised, here is a user script! I have only tested it with GreaseKit for Safari, but it should work with Greasemonkey for Firefox.
When you have installed one of the above, proceed to http://carboxymoron.com/stuff/tumblr/tumblr-nofollowers.user.js. A little box will pop up asking if you want to install the script. Of course you do! You can always disable or edit the script yourself later (refer to individual Grease-things for instructions).
